Petards Joyce-Loebl has provided a range of equipment from Low-tech High Current Power Distribution system, Hydraulic Controls Panels, and Driver’s Control Panels to “High-tech” intelligent microprocessor-controlled Engine Management Systems across a range of vehicles including the British Army Challenger 2 Main Battle Tank, Warrior Armoured Personnel Carrier, Challenger Armoured Repair and Recovery Vehicle (CRARRV), and the Titan and Trojan Engineering Vehicles.  

Challenger 2 Upgrades

VehiclesPetards Joyce-Loebl designed and manufactured the Vehicle Integrated Control System (VICS) - an engine and gearbox management system to replace the obsolescent unit installed on the Challenger 2, the Titan and Trojan Engineering Vehicles.  In addition we are developing a digital display for the vehicle’s speedometer and have modified the Power Distribution Box to incorporate the Bowman Radio Interfaces.
